UW-Madison AOS is now feeding the SATELLITE (previously DIFAX) GRB data feed
from both iddb.unidata.ucar.edu and idd.unidata.ucar.edu.
Also, feel free to poke around thredds.aos.wisc.edu for model/satellite/radar
data during the thredds.unidata.ucar.edu downtime. There'll be a Unidata blog
post soon announcing this service to the community.
FYI.

Subject: [mcidas-x] 20190402: service outage this afternoon
All,
Today, from 5:30PM MDT to 11:30PM MDT, the network at UCAR's Mesa Lab
(ML) will be down for testing. This will impact the following Unidata
systems and services:
adde.ucar.edu (aka atm.ucar.edu, motherlode.unidata.ucar.edu, thredds.ucar=
.edu)
iddb.unidata.ucar.edu (idd.unidata.ucar.edu will remain up)
Unidata GOES-17 ingest (see below)
Unidata GOES-16 backup ingest
Actions:
- Sites feeding solely from iddb.unidata.ucar.edu are advised to
add redundant feed(s) to idd.unidata.ucar.edu.
- Sites accessing data via McIDAS ADDE should point at lead.unidata.ucar.e=
du
during the outage.
- We will be attempting to bring up a backup GOES-17 ingest capability
today. If we can get the work done in time, GOES-17 data being relayed
in the IDD should not be affected.
We apologize for the interruption to services.
Please send any/all questions/comments to:
