Re: [ldm-users] LDM crashed this morning on satellite ingesters

Unfortunately, no one appears to have gotten a stack trace of the NOAAPORT
ingester process that crashed, so determining the specific cause is
problematical.

I suspect, however, that in decoding a GRIB-2 product, the GRIB-2 library
that the ingester uses went off into "la la" land. I've looked at the code
and it doesn't do much in the way of input verification.

I'm working on hardening that code now and hope to have something out on
the order of a week. I'll let you know.
