RE: [ldm-users] NCEP ftp servers
They changed the directory structure on NOMADS after their problems. I
used to get the GFS from the master directory which contained every
level up to 1mb. Now I have to get it in two parts the way I do on
ftp.ncep.noaa.gov.
I'd just go to http://nomads.ncep.noaa.gov and look around and see if
possibly file names are different/changed.

Which NOMADS?
I normally download GFS003 data as an alternate from
ftp://nomads.ncdc.noaa.gov/pub/data/nccf/com/gfs/prod/gfs.YYYYMMDDHH/gfs.tHHz.pgrbfHH.grib2
However, I am seeing nothing.

Carissa Klemmer, Rebecca Cosgrove, and Yuejian Zhu already know about
the issue, are doing what they can to fix it.
There is no guarantee on these servers being up.
They will tell you that guaranteed data services can be fulfilled via a
lease line; Julie Hayes would be the contact for said service.
