Late this afternoon the info of a delay trickled down to me. Instead of tonight, the scheduled power outage will be on 03-Jan-2013 (6pm to 6am).

I'm betting most of you will take advantage of this delay to plan an alternative upstream source if you are currently relying only on ldm.tamu.edu. And I will be providing updates as that date gets closer.

Thank you, Donna

Starting around 6 PM on Tuesday, 18 December 2012, the LDM cluster at TAMU will be shut down to facilitate installation of new power switches and new backup generators. Systems should be back up by 8 AM Wednesday, 19 December 2012.

This will affect any downstream LDM users. I apologize for the very late notice.

Thanks,
Donna
