Hello,I've noticed that we've received a handful of surface observations that appear to be formatted using the old airways observation formatting. Attached is an example that I cut & paste from nwx for Paducah KY for surface hourlies from the past 48 hours. Notice the regular METARs mixed in with the SAOs.Is this a side effect of data being injected into IDD from EMWIN sources, or is this a different issue that NOAA needs to be made aware of? I'm seeing this issue in one form or another with the following stations:ABR PIR PWT ADS MRF MLU PAH PNS NTK XVW PTH WSN Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks, Brendon
That's a Canadian ob. There are a handful of them that still report SAO code that Environment Canada haven't upgraded to the "new" METAR format.
