Hi, I'd like to change the name of the LDM server from "rpc.ldmd" to just "ldmd" so that its name is similar to all the other daemons out there (i.e., syslogd, ntpd, amd, nfsd, dhcpd, crond, ftpd, innd, lpd, named, smtpd, etc., etc., etc.). The only problem I can think of is that some of you might have some scripts that look for the string "rpc.ldmd" in, for example, the output of ps(1).
