Well, it is, but it is also in the main directory as well.
It should work better than 6.4.6 but has not been extensively tested here or elsewhere. That being said, I'd love to hear about any problems with it.
Three Fedora Core 5 fully patched machines running it here very happily, beta or not. :-)
