Due to the snowstorm in the Washington D.C. area, the signal strength
on the NOAAPORT uplink has been reduced. Heavy snowfall at the Master
Ground Station at Ft. Meade, MD has caused a decrease in the signal
strength of the NOAAPORT feed. DynCorp has been working to boost the
signal strength, but it still may not be enough. Some NOAAPORT users
may see a drop in in signal strength, or a loss of signal all
together. We are working to do the best we can in this situation and
we appreciate your patience.
