Due to the current gap in continued funding from the U.S. National Science Foundation (NSF), the NSF Unidata Program Center has temporarily paused most operations. See NSF Unidata Pause in Most Operations for details.
For those of you who re behind in your data feeds this afternoon...see below. This comes from our head Netops guy. ******************************************************************************* Gilbert Sebenste ******** Internet: gilbert@xxxxxxx (My opinions only!) ****** Staff Meteorologist, Northern Illinois University **** E-mail: sebenste@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx *** web: http://weather.admin.niu.edu ** Work phone: 815-753-5492 * ******************************************************************************* ---------- Forwarded message ---------- > From: Herb Kuryliw FYI, There is a major routing loop in Denver that has caused some problems with access to sites on the Internet. For about two hours the most noticeable sites missing were all of Microsoft including MSNBC, MSN and Microsoft.com. The router has been taken out of the network for the time until some hardware is replaced. Not that this list cares all that much about Microsoft and in fact might be a welcome outage.... but it might effect other sites you are going to. For the moment everything appears to be back around 12:45 but running a little sluggish (and it is not us for a change :o). Herb
