Now for my problem.

I have a Sun P/N 600-3344-02 (Sparc 20?) system which contained a dual
processor board, P/n 2613-01 REV51. A CPU apparently failed and another
workstation, P/N 603-2085-03 was acquired. The second unit is a single
processor system.

I have moved the disk drive from the first unit to the second and am
able to successfully boot. However, the system does not seem to detect
the external drives connected to the SCSI port on the back of the unit.

Is there some command or firmware "key" which activates the port? Is
the system board defective?

I downloaded SPARCstation 20 Service Manual dated July, 1996, but cannot
find anything therein to help except diagnostic commands. The system
passes diagnostics.

My total Sun experience* is still measured in hours, so I would appreciate
any help someone can provide.
