Due to the current gap in continued funding from the U.S. National Science Foundation (NSF), the NSF Unidata Program Center has temporarily paused most operations. See NSF Unidata Pause in Most Operations for details.
Mike, et al, while I am a huge mysql proponent for many reasons it would strike me as time better spent to try to write this in a way that it has an abstract database layer where the interface is not limited to mysql. This way if people would rather use Oracle/Informix/... they could still make use of the facility. (of course this also produces more work in writing it) -Simon On Thu, 19 Apr 2001, Michael W Dross wrote: > Received: from unidata.ucar.edu (majordo@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx > [128.117.140.62]) > by genesis.valpo.edu (8.11.1/8.11.1) with ESMTP id f3JLX1x07172 > for <simon.kissler@xxxxxxxxx>; Thu, 19 Apr 2001 16:33:01 -0500 (CDT) > Received: (from majordo@localhost) > by unidata.ucar.edu (UCAR/Unidata) id f3JL8SG27464 > for ldm-users-out; Thu, 19 Apr 2001 15:08:28 -0600 (MDT) > Received: from mxsd02.dukepower.com (corp.dukepower.com [148.134.30.1]) > by unidata.ucar.edu (UCAR/Unidata) with ESMTP id f3JL8PL27460 > for <ldm-users@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx>; Thu, 19 Apr 2001 15:08:25 -0600 (MDT) > Organization: UCAR/Unidata > Keywords: 200104192108.f3JL8PL27460 > Received: from deinet01.dukepower.com (deinet01.dukepower.com > [148.134.58.199]) > by mxsd02.dukepower.com (8.9.3+Sun/8.9.1) with ESMTP id RAA21588 > for <ldm-users@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx>; Thu, 19 Apr 2001 17:08:19 -0400 (EDT) > Subject: LDM -> Database (mysql)??? > To: ldm-users@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx > X-Mailer: Lotus Notes Release 5.0.2a November 23, 1999 > Message-ID: <OFEF613FD1.B7F45640-ON85256A33.0073DB22@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> > From: Michael W Dross <mwdross@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> > Date: Thu, 19 Apr 2001 17:08:16 -0400 > X-MIMETrack: Serialize by Router on DEINET01/DukePower(Release 5.0.3 > |March 21, 2000) at > 04/19/2001 05:08:19 PM > MIME-Version: 1.0 > Content-type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii > Sender: owner-ldm-users@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx > Precedence: bulk > > Hi all, > > I was wondering if anyone had tried to interface LDM into a database > program?
