Due to a hard disk failure, the uwamrc.ssec.wisc.edu workstation, web site, ftp site, and McIDAS ADDE server have been down today March 6, 2001. There has also been a loss of some data - including Antarctic composites. Backup procedures and alternative steps are being taken at this time. We apologize for any problems this outage has caused.
