Re: [idvusers] Open raster file in IDV

If by "raster files" you mean jpg, gif, png, etc., then in the Data
Chooser, select a "Data Source Type" of "Image files" (of the
appropriate type).

If you want to "navigate" the image, then before you display it, look
in the Field Selector, pick "Formulas" and then select "Imagery ->
Geolocate an Image".  When you click  "Create Display" you will get a
dialog pop-up to enter the latitude and longitude of the upper left
and lower right corners of the image, and then a dialog to select your
image file...there is no other "navigation" available.
