If you just want to change the unit on display, use the Edit->Change
Display Unit on the display control and set it to dam (decameters).  The
20th Century heights are in meters (m), instead of geopotential meters
(gpm) (but Tom didn't know that. ;-)).

Or, if you want to make the values be decameters for use in a formula, then you can use Tom's suggestion of writing a formula.
