Re: [idvusers] glx problem with idv latest version

Hi Don,

I tried the update option on my system which is running centos5 but it is saying no package to update. I was trying to find rpm but still can't find it.

Dear idv support team,

I am trying to run idv-30b1 under linux64bit and having this error message

Xlib: extension "GLX" missing on display ":0.0".
Java 3D ERROR : GLX extension is not supported
GLX version 1.3 or higher is required

Any hint to solve it appreciated.

Make sure you have the GLX module installed for your X server. Java 3D requires this. If you are running Fedora, Redhat or CentOS, you can use yum to update. I'm not sure how to do that on other systems.
