Today, from 5:30PM MDT to 11:30PM MDT, the network at UCAR's Mesa Lab
(ML) will be down for testing. This will impact the following Unidata
systems and services: (aka,, thredds.ucar=
.edu) ( will remain up)
Unidata GOES-17 ingest (see below)
Unidata GOES-16 backup ingest

- Sites feeding solely from are advised to
  add redundant feed(s) to

- Sites accessing data via McIDAS ADDE should point at lead.unidata.ucar.e=
  during the outage.

- We will be attempting to bring up a backup GOES-17 ingest capability
today. If we can get the work done in time, GOES-17 data being relayed
in the IDD should not be affected.

We apologize for the interruption to services.
