Hi Neil - you can monitor the dir the grib data is pulled into. Given the max
fhr per model, you can not only tell when that has arrived, but compare it to
previous runs to get an average arrival time, and hence prior to the arrival of
the last grib file, estimate when the run will fully arrive. You can write a
straightforward script to do this. We post this on an internal web site.

Anyone have a slick way of notifying when all the parts and pieces of a model
have arrived and been written to disk?
