Don, Thanks.. could have sworn I tried that.. now another problem crops up.. with TMPF in the GDPFUN, it run's TMPC under GDPLOT3 now if I switch up and use GDCNTR with TMPF as GFUNC it works strange things afoot with my GEMPAK install -Jeff
