Due to the current gap in continued funding from the U.S. National Science Foundation (NSF), the NSF Unidata Program Center has temporarily paused most operations. See NSF Unidata Pause in Most Operations for details.
I am having problems decoding the NAM grid 212 and NAM grid 215 models using the GEMPAK 5.9.3 suggested pqact entries (the ones shipped with the distro). I also had the same problem with 5.9.1. I only want to decode the 212 and 215 gris, so I have these entries: # NAM #212 40km grid CONUS HDS|CONDUIT (/mNAM|/mNMM|MT.nam|nccf/com/nam).*#212 PIPE decoders/dcgrib2 -d data/gempak/logs/dcgrib2_NAM212.log -e GEMTBL=3D/usr/gempak/GEMPAK5.9.3/gempak/tables # # NAM #215 20km grid CONUS HDS|CONDUIT (/mNAM|/mNMM|MT.nam|nccf/com/nam).*#215 PIPE decoders/dcgrib2 -d data/gempak/logs/dcgrib2_NAM215.log -e GEMTBL=3D/usr/gempak/GEMPAK5.9.3/gempak/tables # However, nothing gets decoded. (I do see the files arriving). I have to use the entry to decode all NAM models (I don't want all of them) to get 212 and 215: #HDS|CONDUIT|NGRID (/mNAM|MT.nam|^[LM]..... KWBE) # PIPE decoders/dcgrib2 -d data/gempak/logs/dcgrib2_NAM.log # -e GEMTBL=3D/usr/gempak/GEMPAK5.9.3/gempak/tables # I am not even seeing the logfiles (dcgrib2_NAM212.log, dcgrib2_NAM215.log) being generated so maybe the pattersn for 212 and 215 aren't correct?
