dcgrib2 in GEMPAK5.9.1 Solaris x86 core dumping

I am having problems with dcgrib2 core dumping when trying to decode
GRIB2 format bulletins.  I get a core file and errors like this in
ldmd.log:

decoders/dcgrib2-ddata/gempak/logs/dcgrib2_ETA218.log-eGEMTBL=3D/usr/nawi
ps/uni/GE
MPAK5.9.1/gempak/tables write error

I am running Solaris 10 x86 and am suing the Unidata binary.   Has
anyone else seen this?   I have another box running Solaris
9/GEMPAK5.8.2a and it is working fine.
