G3 file corruption?

NOTE: The difax mailing list is no longer active. The list archives are made available for historical reasons.

Starting at about 1700MST on the 5th of March (last Friday) we started getting bad G3
files - that is, using "g3topbm" on them resulted in errors. Since then, of the
345 maps we've used, 276 were bad.

Any ideas?

Has this list been dead since 6 October 1998?
