Dear Martin

The way to propose adding a new grid_mapping is to get a CF trac account
(request it from webmaster@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx) and create a new trac ticket at
http://cf-pcmdi.llnl.gov/trac
(linked from the CF home page) using the template for a change to the
convention. In the ticket, you should describe the exact change proposed to
the text of the standard (as you have).
