To ensure that the Unidata Community in general and the Unidata Program Center in particular are aware of important advances or other changes in technology that may have an impact on the Program, so that Unidata may take action when necessary.
The ATAC will ensure that such issues are adequately discussed either via e-mail or in working groups when appropriate. Face-to-face meetings will be held on an as needed basis both by the core ATAC and by Committee when the members or subgroups deem it necessary.
