The NSF Unidata Program's advisory committees serve as a vital conduit for information on the needs and requirements of community members, help build consensus on future directions for the NSF Unidata Program, and establish standards of involvement for the community.

Use this form to nominate yourself or a colleague for membership on one of NSF Unidata's advisory committees.

Choose a committee position
The Users Committee is composed of university representatives appointed by the Strategic Advisory Committee chair. It is the primary mechanism for gaining feedback on the effectiveness of the NSF Unidata Program. Appointments reflect the range of large and small colleges and universities with undergraduate and graduate emphases where NSF Unidata systems are in use.
The Strategic Advisory Committee provides a “Big Picture” perspective, helping the NSF Unidata Program better understand data and technology trends within the university geoscience community.
Graduate Student Representatives to the Users Committee bring a valuable student perspective to NSF Unidata committee discussions.
