As a community-focused program, NSF Unidata relies on input from educators, researchers, students, and professionals working across the Earth system sciences. Whether you're a longtime user or new to our offerings, your voice plays a critical role in shaping the future of NSF Unidata.
Due to the current gap in continued funding from the U.S. National Science Foundation (NSF), the NSF Unidata Program Center has temporarily paused most operations. See NSF Unidata Pause in Most Operations for details.
Despite the pause, we encourage you to complete the Community Survey. We look forward to working towards the community priorities identified by the survey once we are able to return to work.
We invite you to participate in the 2025 NSF Unidata Community Survey.
Use the survey to share what you rely on, what you've been searching for, and what you'd like to see us prioritize moving forward. As the field evolves, we want to ensure our efforts continue to meet your needs and support the Earth systems science community. Your responses will help inform program decisions and identify new directions worth pursuing.
The survey should take no more than 15 minutes to complete. Responses are anonymous, and results will be summarized and shared with the community later in 2025.
If you wish to be considered for a drawing to win one of 10 NSF Unidata swag bags, you will be directed to submitting your email address in a second form. Your survey data will not be linked to your email address.
Watch for updates about the survey here on News@Unidata or on our social media.
Your time and insights are appreciated, and we look forward to learning from you!
