The Department of Geography and Earth Sciences at the University of North Carolina, Charlotte is searching for a tenure-track assistant professor in the area of Atmospheric Sciences.

The department is is seeking expertise that leverages remote sensing to address questions related to topics such as precipitation, cloud cover, aerosols, air pollution, or radiative transfer, and their interactions with Earth’s climate and weather systems. Candidates are required to have earned a PhD in Atmospheric Sciences, Meteorology, or a closely related discipline at the time of appointment.
