Greg,
The developer who will fix this is on travel and won't get to it
until next week. If you need an earlier workaround, the amount of
memory leaked is reduced substantially by writing all the values for
the projection_x_coordinate with a single call to write all the values
at once, rather than individual invocations of the put_rec() method
for every value, and similarly for projection_y_coordinate.
