[netCDF #UUG-739716]: Compiling NETCDF-3.6.1 on IBM AIX platform

Great!

You have to set the OBJECT_MODE to turn on 64-bit builds (if that is what you 
want). This is no longer done by the configure script (64-bit builds are too 
complicated!)
