I'm sorry but I can't make third-party software available on UPC systems
for security reasons (I would have to vet the distribution and I don't
have that much time).

I suggest that you make the RPM permanently available on your FTP
server.  I can put a hyperlink to it on the netCDF-Perl webpage.
