worked nicely for me, but if it is not for you please try:

http://my.unidata.ucar.edu/

click on software..top bar

click on netCDF...right nav bar

click on downloads..left nav bar

scroll to netCDF, and select binary or source.


You will have to register to download..no worries, no spam, no fees, we
just need metrics for our funding agencies.
