Yes, please do.  I'd like a bit more information so I could mention your
product on our "Where is NetCDF Used?" web page at
http://www.unidata.ucar.edu/packages/netcdf/usage.html where we mention
other untraditional uses such as chromatography and medical image

The one on the web site at
http://www.unidata.ucar.edu/packages/netcdf/copyright.html
is sufficient.

There is no need to include a copy in the manual, if you include a copy in
the folder for such notices.
