No problem, I'm glad it worked this time.

I'd stick with what's in the utilities document, and view the WWW form:

    http://www.unidata.ucar.edu/packages/netcdf/utilities.html

as it's got lot's more information if you follow the links and you can even
see what the output of some of the packages look like that way. The
`ncopers' document is getting old and we haven't had the resources to do
much development, while others have produced some very useful packages in
the absence of ncopers.

I like the IDL package ncbrowse, but it requires that you already have IDL.
Others have spoken highly of the ACE/gr package, but I haven't used it yet.
Actually, I haven't used many of the packages that are described in the
utilities document, so if you decide to compare a few, I'd be interested in
your conclusions.

I maintain the utilities document and add new packages whenever I come
across them, but that doesn't mean there aren't more I'm not aware of.

Recently I've got wind of a couple more packages, but I haven't had time to
contact the authors yet to see what information is available. When I do,
I'll add an entry in the "What's New" page.
