You are recalling correctly.

Carissa handled the needed ALLOWs in the ~ldm/etc/ldmd.conf files on
the NCEP cluster's back end machines, and she also worked with with the
NOAA network folks to get the firewalls configured to allow inbound
REQUESTs on port 388 from the set of community CONDUIT relays.

What is likely to be needed, however, is for you to provide/verify the
IP address and fully-qualified name of your new host.  I believe that
the information is:

128.174.76.239 <-> flood.atmos.uiuc.edu

I am not 100% sure since 'nslookup' returns two different IPs for
the name 'flood.atmos.uiuc.edu':
