[AWIPS #MHV-312997]: Models on MacOS Issue



Hi there,

Thank you for sending those, that's useful.  I think the issue *may* be a 
networking restriction caused by the
latest version of macOS.  Our production release of v20.3.2-1 bundles it's own 
version of Python with it, so 
your computer's python installation shouldn't matter.
However, that "unable to post request to server" error means it's failing to 
talk to EDEX properly.  It basically
looks like it's not getting the full data response back from EDEX, so then it 
fails to draw it properly when it's
trying to do so.

Is there any way to double check that both ports 9581 and 9582 are open and 
available for network traffic?
