Interesting. I prefer using Scientific Linux but install used Centos since
it was the recommended OS. I'm not adverse to installing again. since I've
already installed the OS three time now. First I tried installing Cave in a
64 bit version of Centos 5 and yum installed both the 32 and 64 bit version
of java rendering alertviz and cave brain dead. I then installed the 32bit
version so I can install the EDEX and CAVE together. Then reinstalled again
think that gnome had gotten corrupted but the same thing happened on the
latest install. I'll try rolling back the lib file you mentioned and see if
that changes anything.
