Jeff,

Yes I have physical access to mugps.  As far as I can tell nothing crashed
on it or shut down at anytime other than my restarting the ldm to see if
that helped... it didn't.  
We've been comparing the met pack with our other instruments and it is
tracking along with them well.  I can't tell about the GPS, other than the
satellite light on the receiver is in fast blink mode (less than 4
satellites?)

One off the wall idea... could the fact that your using UTC time and I'm
using EDT time be a factor?  I see in some of the ldm support archives that
a nullproc error could be due to a difference in the times between the ldm
server and client.
