[LDM #QAY-408307]: LDM Gap in packet sequence Error

On both of our Linux NOAAPort ingest machines we use:

net.ipv4.ipfrag_max_dist = 0

Yes, the settings need to be in /etc/sysctl.conf.

It is our experience that Carrier to Noise is not a definitive indicator
on how good one's NOAAPort ingest will be.  The C/N reported by our
two Novra S300Ns vary from about 16.5 to 18, and the number
of Gaps we see on a daily basis are low.  One site located
on the east coast in the past has consistent C/Ns that are
under 12, and their ingest is also very good.  Another site, on
the other hand, has C/Ns that vary in the mid 14 dB range, and they
experience a lot of Gap messages on a daily basis.

What sort of errors is your Novra S300N reporting.  Here is a snapshot from
on of our units for comparison:
