[netCDF #RFD-455704]: Regarding netCDF-Fortran 4.4 installation

The error is coming from this line:
configure:5326: gfortran -c -g -02 -x f95 conftest.f90 >&5
The "-02" should be "-O2" i.e. the letter "O" instead of the digit "0".
Are you specify this flag in say CFLAGS environment variable?
