Howdy Ansley,

You need to upgrade your HDF5 to at least 1.8.3-snap2. Or, even better, the
1.8.4-pre1 release at:
ftp://ftp.unidata.ucar.edu/pub/netcdf/netcdf-4/hdf5-1.8.4-pre1.tar.gz

Thanks,

Ed
