Could you please turn off HTML in your email? It is mucking up your text in our

The DOS command line hasn't been improved since the days of the lava lamp.
Might I suggest that you switch to a better environment? For example, if you
install cygwin (which is free) everything will be a lot easier for both of us.

Another alternative would be to consider using some software that handles
netCDF, like grads, IDV, or ncgen to create the data files. That way, you would
not have to do any programming at all.

Also, why g77? It is very old and has been replaced with gfortran, which
handles Fortran 90/95 as well as Fortran 77.

If I have not convinced you to change environments or compilers, then I don't
know if any of the prebuild netcdf DLLs will work with g77 and DOS, but you can
try - I would suggest the f2cFortran one. See:
