[netCDF #QBM-450894]: Re: requesting netcdf support - ifort 32 bit installation is failing

That looks like a known problem with ifort installation, as described here:

and the solution may be making sure you have the environment variables needed 
for 
ifort defined before you run it, as described here:

  
http://www.unidata.ucar.edu/software/netcdf/docs/known_symptoms.html#ifort_config

If you don't have a script such as ifortvars.sh that came with your ifort 
installation
that defines the necessary environment variables, I'm stumped.  I'm Cc:ing Ed, 
who
wrote that solution, in case he knows more ...
