Thank you.

The file "macro.make" indicates that the Fortran-90 compiler is the
version 5.1 compiler from Portland Group:

    F90             = /opt/pgi/linux86/5.1/bin/pgf90

We believe the problem you encountered is due to a bug in that compiler.
The problem doesn't occur with any other Fortran-90 compiler (including
previous versions from Portland Group).

Unfortunately, we don't have a version 5 Fortran-90 compiler from
Portland Group on any of our systems. So we can't investigate this
problem.

Do you need the Fortran-90 interface? Can you use another Fortran-90
compiler?

Steve Emmerson
