compiler.  Also, our inquiry tracking system has several entries on use
of the Intel compilers in building the netCDF.  Please check out:

and search for Linux and/or intel.

You may find that you need to define one or more Unix environment
variables to do a successful build.  Remember that after you define the
environment variables, you will need to run 'make distclean' before you
rerun 'configure'.
