Hi Shawn,
The ncdump program is a utility that must be built from source for each
different computing platform. We have some versions available for a
few platforms, and instructions for downloading the pre-built binaries
are here:

It's often easier to build netCDF from source, and then you will have an
ncdump that is tested as part of the build process. Instructions for
downloading and building netCDF from source are here:

ncbrowse is a Java program from PMEL, and you can find out how to download
and run it here:
