The above indicates that the C compiler doesn't know what
Fortran-calling-C conventions to use when compiling the the Fortran
API implementation. To use NAG Fortran conventions, define the C macro
"NAGf90Fortran" before executing the configure script.

Try the following:

    1.  Go to the top-level source directory.

    2.  Perform steps 3 through 5 mentioned near the end of the file
        "INSTALL.html".

    3.  Ensure that the environment variable CPPFLAGS contains the
        string "-DNAGf90Fortran" (without the quote marks), e.g.

            export CPPFLAGS=-DNAGf90Fortran

        or

            setenv CPPFLAGS -DNAGf90Fortran

    4.  Perform steps 6 through 9 mentioned near the end of the file
        "INSTALL.html".
