The error message above indicates that the Standard C function
"memmove()" is missing from your linking environment.  This function is
required by the C Standard and the netCDF package requires a Standard
C compiler.  Because the gcc compiler is a Standard C compiler, this
function should be available.  The fact that it isn't suggests a problem
with your gcc installation.  I suggest that you consult with your system
administrator to discover why this function is not available.

When you have discovered why this function is unavailable, please tell
me; I'll then be able to tell you if you can build the netCDF package
and, if so, how.
