Yes - you might want to update INSTALL to say

      FFLAGS='-g -F -M1110'

This supresses warning number "1110" (the one in question).

Or...mightn't it be better to have the build process build things with
"REAL" instead of "DOUBLEPRECISION" declarations?  Then users wouldn't
have to remember the extra compiler switch...
