Larry,
We've managed to build a netCDF package that passes all the C tests on
an IRIX64 system. We didn't use your system but you can obtain it by
contacting David Pierce <address@hidden>. I've told him to
expect you.
Unfortunately, the FORTRAN interface doesn't work -- so don't use it.
We're investigating the problem.
