There seems to be considerable interest, judging by the number of inquiries
we have gotten on this subject.  If you could make your object libraries
and executables available, I'm sure they would be used.

Providing changes to the sources in a form that could be integrated and
maintained with our source distribution is a more ambitious undertaking, and
I can't guarantee we would incorporate the changes, since we've already made
some changes that will be in the next release, and the divergence might be
difficult to handle.  Perhaps the best time to consider this would be after
we make a beta-test release of the next version available.  If you were to
port that to Borland compilers, we would all be dealing with the same
version of the sources and the integration would be easier.

So I guess I'd like to take you up on your generous offer of the
precompiled binaries, and maybe wait a while on changes to the sources
unless they are small or you already have them packaged up.
