I have not looked into stretching/no stretching yet.  This fixes the problem
of IMGCOPYing into an AREA dataset when keeping 2-byte data (i.e., not VISR)
and IMGPROBEing of the AREA copy.

It _should_ be the case that the MCSTRETCH environment is fully functional
as there is nothing that I did that would have stopped that from working.
